Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Trivarent ("the Application") is developed and distributed by Gain Publications ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the Trivarent application and website at trivarent.com.

Trivarent is built on a peer-to-peer architecture. By design, session data is transmitted directly between participants and does not pass through our servers.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or process the following:

• Screen share or remote desktop session data
• Voice or video call content
• Files transferred between session participants
• Chat messages exchanged during sessions
• Documents or print jobs processed through the Trivarent Printer
• Personal identifying information required to use the application

3. Session Tokens

When a host starts a session, a unique cryptographic token is generated locally on their device. This token is used by participants to establish a direct peer-to-peer connection. Token data is ephemeral — it expires when the session ends and is never stored on our servers.

4. License Verification

Licensed editions of Trivarent may contact our licensing servers to verify a license key. This verification transmits only the license key and a machine identifier. No personal data, session content, or usage telemetry is transmitted during this process.

5. Website Analytics

The trivarent.com website may use standard web server logs that record IP addresses, browser type, referring URLs, and pages visited. This information is used solely for operational purposes such as security monitoring and aggregate traffic analysis. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

6. Printer Setup Utility

The Trivarent Printer Setup utility installs a local Windows printer on your device. It does not transmit any data to our servers. Print jobs captured by this utility are processed locally and transferred only to the connected session host via the peer-to-peer connection.

7. Third-Party Services

Trivarent uses the following third-party infrastructure:

• Cloudflare — for website hosting and file delivery. Subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Microsoft Store — for application distribution. Subject to Microsoft's privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third-party advertisers or data brokers.

8. Children's Privacy

Trivarent is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the application following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
